The Chairman of CCM, Alhaji Taiwo Elewide, popularly known as Big Champion Akile Egbaland, expressed his condolences in a statement to Chief Mustapha and the entire Mustapha family, describing the death of the matriarch as a great loss to the family and the community.
Elewide said the deceased lived a long and meaningful life, characterised by strong faith, dignity and commitment to her family, adding that her legacy would continue to be remembered by those whose lives she touched.
According to him, Alhaja Adunola was “a devoted Muslim who lived a life worthy of emulation,” noting that her 97 years were marked by steadfastness, good character and dedication to the wellbeing of her family.
The CCM chairman prayed Allah to forgive the deceased’s shortcomings and grant her Al-Jannatul Firdaus, while urging Chief Bode Mustapha and other members of the family to take solace in the fact that their mother lived a fulfilled and impactful life.
He said, “On behalf of the Central Coordinate Movement, I extend my heartfelt condolences to our highly respected Osi of Egbaland, Chief Bode Mustapha, and the entire Mustapha family on the passing of their beloved mother. May Almighty Allah grant her eternal rest and give the family the strength to bear this irreparable loss.”
