The CCM is chaired by Hon. Odewole Monsuru, who provides leadership and direction for the movement’s activities, particularly its efforts to mobilise support, promote political participation and coordinate members across different communities and locations.
The newly constituted Diaspora executive is expected to play a strategic role in connecting members of the movement outside Nigeria with its activities and objectives in the South-West. The leadership will also facilitate effective communication, coordination and mobilisation among members in the Diaspora.
Under the new structure, Mr. Oladimeji Monsuru Odewole (Tambo Cuba) serves as Diaspora Chairman, Diaspora Affairs, while Mr. Kehinde Elewide is the Vice Chairman. Mr. Babatunde Adeleye takes the position of Financial Secretary, with Mr. Ademola Adenekan serving as Chief Whip.
Other members of the new Diaspora executive include Mr. Eddie Felix, General Secretary; Mr. Afeez Afuape, Legal Adviser; and Mr. Samod Yusuf Publicity Secretary (PRO).
The executives are expected to work collectively to advance the objectives of the movement and strengthen its presence among supporters in the Diaspora.
The Central Coordinate Movement has continued to position itself as a political support platform committed to mobilising grassroots and Diaspora supporters in the South-West. Through its activities, the group seeks to promote unity, participation and coordinated political engagement among its members.
With the inauguration of the new Diaspora executives, the CCM is expected to intensify its mobilisation efforts and create a stronger link between its members at home and abroad. The new leadership is also expected to contribute to the movement’s growth and support its political objectives across the South-West region.
