Speaking with journalists on the achievements recorded under Hon. Oyegbola-Sodipo’s administration on Thursday ,the party chairman lauded his visionary leadership, particularly in the areas of economic empowerment and infrastructural development.
According to her, for the first time in the history of local government administration in Abeokuta North, a single-digit microcredit scheme has been introduced to support market women in the local government .
She noted that the initiative would enhance financial inclusion and help small-scale traders grow their businesses sustainably.
The party chairman highlighted the completion of a 240-store Computer Village at Olomore, an ambitious project designed to attract major telecom and technology brands to the local government.
She stated that the innovation would position Abeokuta North as a key player in the digital economy and create numerous job opportunities for young people.
She reaffirmed the party’s confidence in Hon. Oyegbola-Sodipo’s leadership, describing him as a dedicated public servant who has redefined grassroots governance through transparency, inclusiveness, and developmental initiatives.
“Hon. Lanre Oyegbola-Sodipo has done well. His administration has demonstrated true commitment to the welfare of our people. The microcredit scheme and the Computer Village and other innovations are testimonies of a government that truly cares about progress of the local government “she said.
Faidat urged residents of Abeokuta North to continue supporting the administration, assuring that more life-changing projects would soon be unveiled.
