The Towulade of Owu Akinale, Oba Oluseyi Adediran, has congratulated the Aare Lasa of Owu Kingdom, Alhaji Bakai Okedara, on the occasion of his birthday anniversary, describing him as a committed community leader and respected son of the ancient kingdom.
Oba Adediran, in a congratulatory message made available to journalists on Tuesday praised Okedara for his contributions to the unity, peace and development of Owu Kingdom.
The traditional ruler said the celebrant had, over the years, distinguished himself through his commitment to the progress of his people and his dedication to the preservation of the cultural heritage and values of the Owu race.
According to the monarch, Alhaji Okedara’s relationship with the people and his passion for community development have continued to make him a prominent and respected figure within the kingdom.
Oba Adediran noted that the birthday celebration provided an opportunity to appreciate the celebrant’s contributions and commitment to the growth and advancement of Owu communities.
He prayed that Almighty God would grant Okedara continued good health, wisdom and strength to contribute more to the development and peaceful coexistence of the people of Owu Kingdom.
