Hon. Tella gave the commendation when the Head of Service, Mr. Kehinde Onasanya, represented by the Permanent Secretary, Bureau of Establishments and Training, Mrs. Lydia Fajounbo led other agencies under the Office of the Head of Service to appear before the State lawmakers in respect of the ongoing State 2025 mid- year budget performance assessment at the Assembly Complex, Oke-Mosan, Abeokuta.
Acknowledging the professionalism and dedication of the State workforce, describing it as the best in the country; urging the Office to do more through the training of middle level and junior staff to further sustain high standards across the public service.
Earlier in her presentation, the representative of the Head of Service, Mrs. Fajounbo, noted that government was committed to training and retaining of the entire workforce, appreciating the State Government for its timely conduct of the promotion exercise and the funding of key training initiatives for civil and public servants.
According to the Permanent Secretary, continued investment in human capital development would deepen efficiency and service delivery to further consolidate on the gains of the Prince Dapo Abiodun-led administration.
She also highlighted the Bureau’s achievements to include improved synergy between political office holders and career officers, the observance of ethical standards in public service, diligent handling of appeals and petitions from staff and enhanced revenue generation through the effective management of government quarters amongst others.
