The former Chairman of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) in Ogun State, Hon. Dr. Sikirulahi Ogundele ( PhD), has described the party as empty.
The Former House of Assembly Member disclosed this on Wednesday during his official defection to APC at Ake, Abeokuta, Ogun State.
Ogundele described Abiodun as excellent and responsible Governor who has distinguished himself from other Governors.
The former PDP Chairman said” Today, we are officially defecting to a progressive party, APC, PDP is empty, I don’t want to be mentioning the name again. We have left the party and we have moved into APC finally.
“You can only see responsible former PDP members here today, others are not responsible. I have not seen any APC members joining PDP but PDP members have been joining APC and that is to tell you that APC is a progressive party and we are happy we are now official members of the party.
“I want to assure the Governor of Ogun State, the excellent and responsible Governor, Prince Dr Dapo Abiodun that we will work together with him to take Ogun State to a greater height. We are ready to be loyal to Governor Abiodun and align with the party.
“We have moved into the party officially today. I want to rejoice with our Governor for witnessing this development today.
“I want to congratulate the entire members of APC led by Gov. Abiodun , you are doing very well , no doubt about it , President Tinubu is also doing very well considering the fact that renewed hope agenda is giving us results, and its working .
“We have come into APC, and our coming into your folds will be very resourceful one and union compatibility. By coming to your folds will give you positive results” he said.
