In a statement issued to newsmen on Wednesday, Ambassador Ibraheem said Chief Osoba’s remarkable contributions to the political development of Ogun State and Nigeria have earned him the admiration and respect of people across political, professional and social divides.
According to the Zee 1 Triple T CEO, the former governor remains one of the few Nigerian leaders whose legacy continues to shape governance, democratic values and responsible leadership decades after serving in public office.
“Chief Olusegun Osoba is a living legend whose life has been defined by integrity, courage and an unwavering commitment to the progress of Ogun State and Nigeria. At 87, his accomplishments remain a source of inspiration to many of us,” he said.
He noted that beyond his achievements as a former governor, Osoba has continued to play a fatherly role by mentoring young leaders and promoting unity within the All Progressives Congress (APC), adding that his wise counsel has remained invaluable to the growth of the party.
“His dedication to mentoring emerging leaders and strengthening democratic institutions is worthy of commendation. His leadership style reflects humility, wisdom and an uncommon passion for public service,” he added.
Ambassador Ibraheem also described Osoba as a bridge-builder whose influence transcends politics, saying the elder statesman has consistently championed peace, dialogue and the collective interest of Ogun State.
The Zee 1 Triple T CEO prayed for God’s continued protection, sound health and abundant grace upon the former governor, expressing confidence that Osoba would continue to offer guidance and contribute meaningfully to national development.
