Eid-El-Kabir: Ogun Lawmaker Tella Urges Muslims to Embrace Sacrifice, Peace

The lawmaker representing Abeokuta North State Constituency, Hon. Babatunde Tella, has felicitated with Muslims in Ogun State and across Nigeria on the occasion of this year’s Eid-El-Kabir celebration, urging residents to uphold the virtues of sacrifice, peace, love and unity.

In a goodwill message released on Wednesday , Tella described Eid-El-Kabir as a significant period for reflection, obedience to God and compassion towards humanity.

The lawmaker called on Muslims to use the festive period to pray for peace, progress and economic stability of Ogun State and the nation at large.

According to him, “Eid-El-Kabir teaches us the values of sacrifice, tolerance and total submission to the will of Almighty Allah. We must continue to live in peace with one another and support efforts aimed at building a better society.”

Tella also appealed to citizens to extend love and support to the less privileged during the celebration, stressing that acts of kindness and generosity would strengthen unity among the people.

“I encourage our people to remember the needy, widows and vulnerable members of society during this festive season. Together, we can build a more caring and united community,” he said.

The Ogun lawmaker further appreciated the people of Abeokuta North for their continued support and confidence in his leadership, assuring them of his commitment to quality representation and community development.

He wished Muslims a peaceful and joyous Eid-El-Kabir celebration filled with blessings and happiness.
