The Managing Director of Declassics Group, Hon. Jide Ogunsina, has congratulated Muslims across Ogun State and Nigeria on the celebration of Eid-El-Kabir, urging residents to embrace the values of sacrifice, peace, unity, and love which the festival represents.
Ogunsina, who recently participated in the All Progressives Congress (APC) primary election in Ogun State, described Eid-El-Kabir as a season of reflection and compassion, calling on citizens to continue praying for the peace and progress of the country.
In a statement made available to journalists on Wednesday, the APC chieftain said the celebration should serve as a reminder of the importance of selflessness and commitment to the development of society.
According to him, “Eid-El-Kabir is a significant celebration for Muslims across the world. It teaches us the virtues of sacrifice, obedience, tolerance, and love for humanity. I congratulate all Muslim faithful and pray that Almighty Allah accepts our prayers and sacrifices.”
Hon. Ogunsina also used the opportunity to call on the people of Ogun State to remain steadfast in their support for the All Progressives Congress ahead of the 2027 general elections, stressing that the party remains committed to good governance and sustainable development.
He urged residents to rally support for President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, saying the President has continued to implement policies aimed at repositioning Nigeria for economic growth and national stability.
The Declassics Group boss equally appealed to party faithful and the electorate to support the APC governorship candidate in Ogun State, Senator Solomon Olamilekan Adeola, popularly known as Yayi, describing him as a leader with the capacity and experience to move the state forward.
He further canvassed support for other APC candidates in Ogun State, including the Ogun Central Senatorial Candidate, Hon. Salisu Omoyayi, the House of Representatives candidate representing Abeokuta North, Odeda and Obafemi Owode Federal Constituency, Hon. Olumide Osoba, and the APC Assembly candidate representing Abeokuta North State Constituency, Hon. Babatunde Tella.
“APC remains the best platform for the development of Ogun State and Nigeria. I urge our people to continue supporting all our candidates from the presidential level down to the state assembly because they possess the vision and leadership qualities needed to deliver more democratic dividends,” he stated.
Ogunsina also commended the commissioner for forestry in Ogun State Hon. Taiwo Oludotun for his unflinching efforts and commitment during the just concluded APC primaries, noting that his dedication contributed immensely to the success of the exercise in Abeokuta North and beyond.
He equally appreciated all APC leaders, stakeholders, and members in Abeokuta North and Ogun State in general for their unity, loyalty, and steadfast support for the party, urging them to remain committed ahead of the 2027 general elections.
