The appointment was disclosed in a statement jointly signed by the Founder of Zee 1 for Yayi, Amb. Dr Azeez Ayomikun Ibrahim, and the Secretary, Prince Olamilekan Ade Segun Felix.
According to the statement, the appointment reflects the group’s commitment to expanding its organisational structure, strengthening grassroots engagement and mobilising support for Senator Solomon Olamilekan Adeola, popularly known as Yayi, ahead of the 2027 Ogun State governorship election.
The leadership described the appointment as a strategic step towards consolidating the group’s presence across the state, expressing confidence in the capacity of the new coordinator to provide effective leadership and drive the organisation’s objectives.
“We are confident that Alhaja Okeshipe-Hammed Nafisat Omoposola possesses the leadership qualities, commitment and organisational capacity required to steer the affairs of Zee 1 for Yayi at the state level,”.
The group further urged members and supporters across the 20 local government areas of Ogun State to rally behind the new coordinator and work collectively towards achieving its political objectives.
The group also congratulated the appointee, expressing optimism that her appointment would strengthen unity, enhance grassroots participation and advance the group’s mobilisation efforts.
Zee 1 for Yayi, founded by Amb. Dr Azeez Ayomikun Ibrahim, is a political support organisation committed to mobilising grassroots support for Senator Solomon Olamilekan Adeola’s 2027 governorship ambition in Ogun State.
