Dundun Legacy Movement Donates Exercise Books to Tella, Backs Re-election Campaign

The Dundun Legacy Movement, led by Mr Wasiu Folarin and Toyin Kilaso, has donated exercise books to a member representing Abeokuta North State Constituency in the Ogun State House of Assembly in support of his re-election campaign.

The donation, which underscores the movement’s commitment to education and grassroots political participation, is also aimed at demonstrating confidence in Tella’s leadership and his contributions to the development of Abeokuta North.

Speaking on the gesture, the leaders of the movement, Mr Wasiu Folarin and Toyin Kilaso, said the donation was borne out of their belief in Tella’s leadership and the importance of supporting initiatives that promote education and community development.

They noted that education remains a critical instrument for societal transformation, stressing that providing learning materials for pupils and students would help ease the financial burden on parents while encouraging academic excellence.

According to them, “Our support for Hon. Babatunde Tella is a demonstration of our confidence in his leadership and commitment to the people. We believe in leaders who understand the needs of their communities, and we are determined to contribute our quota towards his continued success.”

Receiving the donation, Hon. Tella appreciated the Dundun Legacy Movement for the show of solidarity and confidence in his political aspiration.

He described the gesture as encouraging, noting that the development further strengthened his resolve to prioritise education, youth empowerment and people-oriented representation.

Tella said, “I sincerely appreciate the Dundun Legacy Movement for this thoughtful gesture. This is more than a donation; it is a demonstration of shared commitment to education and the future of our children. I will continue to justify the confidence reposed in me through purposeful representation and impactful initiatives.”

The lawmaker further assured his supporters that he would remain committed to initiatives that would improve the welfare of constituents and create opportunities for the younger generation.
