City Boys Movement Pledges Grassroots Mobilisation for Tinubu in Ogun West

The City Boys Movement in Ogun State has reaffirmed its commitment to mobilising grassroots support for the administration and re-election of Bola Ahmed Tinubu, declaring that youths in the region remain strongly aligned with the President’s policies and development agenda.

The Coordinator of the movement in Ogun West Senatorial District, Ayodeji Idowu, PhD made the declaration in a press statement on Friday, noting that the organisation is a coalition of like-minded individuals dedicated to promoting the programmes of the Federal Government at the grassroots.

Idowu explained that the City Boys Movement is a youth-driven political platform focused on engaging young people and mobilising support for the continued leadership of President Tinubu.

He stated that the group is already putting structures in place across communities in the Ogun West Senatorial District to strengthen grassroots mobilisation and ensure that residents understand and benefit from government initiatives.

According to him, the movement plans to roll out several empowerment programmes targeted at improving the economic wellbeing of residents, particularly women and small-scale entrepreneurs in the district.

“Our movement is committed to supporting the success of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s administration and promoting the policies of the Federal Government at the grassroots".
He added that the initiatives would include empowerment schemes for market women, cash grants for residents and support programmes for small business owners aimed at strengthening local economic activities.

The coordinator further revealed that the organisation is working to establish strong community structures across the five local government areas in Ogun West to mobilise grassroots influencers and community stakeholders in support of the Federal Government.

Idowu stressed that the Southwest remains the political stronghold of President Tinubu and that members of the movement are determined to consolidate support for the administration across the region.

“Our mission is clear: the Southwest must remain firmly behind President Bola Ahmed Tinubu" he said.
