New Year: Abeokuta North APC Chairman, Alhaja Faidat Sarumi Akintunde, Calls for Unity, Renewed Commitment

As Nigerians usher in the New Year, the Chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Abeokuta North Local Government, Alhaja Faidat Sarumi Akintunde, has extended warm New Year greetings to party members and residents of the local government area, urging them to embrace unity, peace, and collective progress in 2026.

Alhaja Faidat commended party leaders, ward executives, and grassroots members for their loyalty and sacrifices, stressing that their commitment has continued to position the APC as a formidable and people-oriented party within the local government.

The APC chairman called on residents to sustain peaceful coexistence and support government policies and programmes aimed at improving infrastructure, education, healthcare, and economic opportunities across communities in Abeokuta North.

According to her, the ruling party remains committed to delivering good governance in line with the vision of Governor Dapo Abiodun, assuring that Abeokuta North will continue to benefit from ongoing and future developmental initiatives of the state government.

Alhaja Akintunde encouraged youths and women to take advantage of empowerment programmes and to remain law-abiding, active, and constructive in contributing to the growth and stability of their communities.

She wished residents a prosperous New Year filled with good health, peace, and progress, while reaffirming the APC’s readiness to work with all stakeholders to ensure a more united and prosperous Abeokuta North in the year ahead.
