David made these remarks during a political program on Family FM 88.5 in Abeokuta.
Speaking on the program, the league’s spokesman highlighted some of the contributions of the APC Youth League in strengthening political participation among young people, explaining that the group has been actively involved in mobilizing youths across the state, encouraging them to play constructive roles in politics and governance.
According to him, the APC Youth League has also promoted communication between government and citizens while supporting developmental initiatives that touch on the welfare of the people.
He noted that the group is committed to ensuring that the youth remain an active voice in political decision-making.
The director further commended Governor Dapo Abiodun for his leadership style, describing the governor as a leader who has kept faith with the people.
He pointed to improvements in infrastructure, education, and social welfare programs as some of the achievements that have positively impacted Ogun residents.
David emphasized that the governor’s steady leadership over the past six years deserves recognition, especially considering the challenges faced by the state.
He added that the APC Youth League would continue to stand by the governor in his drive to make Ogun State a model for development.
Looking ahead, the APC Youth League announced plans to stage a “Walking Movement” across Ogun State in October.
The initiative, according to him, will serve as a platform to sensitize the public about government policies, unite party members, and promote political awareness among the youth.
The spokesman concluded by urging young people in Ogun State to come out in large numbers and participate in the October walking movement.
He stressed that the exercise would not only show solidarity with the governor but also demonstrate the readiness of the youth to contribute meaningfully to the progress of the state.
