The Chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Abeokuta North Local Government, Alhaja Faidat Sarumi Akintunde, has congratulated a respected political leader and elder statesman in Abeokuta North local government Hon. Adekunle Adesina, on his 87th birthday anniversary.
In her congratulatory message issued to newsmen on Monday , Alhaja Faidat described Hon. Adesina as a pillar of wisdom and an exemplary figure whose dedication to to community development remain a source of inspiration to younger politicians across the state.
She lauded the octogenarian for his unflinching loyalty to progressive ideals, saying his steadfastness and courage in leadership have greatly contributed to the political stability and growth of Abeokuta North and Ogun State at large.
According to the party chairman, Hon. Adesina has not only played key roles in shaping the political direction of the local government but has also mentored many leaders who continue to serve in various capacities across the state.
“Baba Adekunle Adesina is a true progressive who has spent decades advocating for justice, fairness, and equity. His life of humility, discipline, and service is one that younger generations should emulate,” Alhaja Faidat stated.
She further acknowledged the celebrant’s invaluable counsel and moral support to the APC family, describing him as a guiding light whose wisdom has helped sustain unity and order within the party structure in Abeokuta North.
