Zee1 for Yayi Founder Meets Ogun Governor’s Aide, Moves to Mobilise Youths for Yayi’s 2027 Ambition

The founder of Zee1 for Yayi, Ambassador Azeez Ayomikun Ibrahim, has met with the National President of the APC Youth League and Special Assistant to the Ogun State Governor on Youth Development Comrade Olamide Lawal to explore strategies for youth engagement and mobilisation ahead of the 2027 general elections.

The meeting held in Abeokuta on Wednesday focused on possible areas of collaboration between Zee1 for Yayi and the APC Youth League, particularly in mobilising young people across Ogun State to support the governorship ambition of Senator Solomon Olamilekan Adeola, popularly known as Yayi and other APC candidates.

Ambassador Ibrahim, who has been actively involved in youth-oriented political mobilisation, emphasised the need for strategic partnerships among youth organisations, political stakeholders and grassroots mobilisers to strengthen young people’s participation in the political process.
He noted that the youth population remained a significant force in determining electoral outcomes, stressing that effective engagement, credible communication and grassroots outreach would be essential to achieving the group’s political objectives ahead of the 2027 elections.

According to Ibrahim, Zee1 for Yayi is committed to deploying its organisational structure, communication platforms and mobilisation strategies to encourage young people to participate actively in the political process and support Senator Adeola’s governorship ambition.

He said, “Our young people have enormous potential to influence the future of Ogun State. What we need is a coordinated approach that brings them together, listens to their aspirations and encourages them to participate meaningfully in the democratic process. Through collaboration, we can build a stronger youth movement ahead of 2027.”
The Special Assistant to the Governor was also engaged in discussions on how youth-focused initiatives and collaborative programmes could strengthen political participation and create opportunities for young people across the state.

The discussions further explored the importance of sustained grassroots engagement, effective communication and strategic networking in reaching young voters across the 20 local government areas of Ogun State. Both parties recognised the potential of organised youth structures to promote political awareness and encourage participation in the electoral process.

Amb. Ibrahim expressed optimism that closer cooperation with the APC Youth League and other relevant stakeholders would provide a platform for more coordinated youth mobilisation in support of Senator Adeola’s aspiration.

He stressed that building a sustainable movement would require unity, purposeful leadership and consistent engagement with young people at the community level.
