In a time when many have lost faith in governance and its ability to touch the grassroots, one man is rekindling our hope—Senator Solomon Olamilekan Adeola (Yayi), the Chairman of the Senate Committee on Appropriation.
His intervention in Ogun State, particularly in Abeokuta North and the Oke-Ogun communities, is nothing short of transformative.
Just today, I watched a video of the hospital he is building for our people in Ibara-Orile, and I was deeply moved. To think that such a life-changing project could come to our long-neglected communities within our lifetime—who would have thought? The joy is overwhelming.
This is not just about one hospital. It's about a series of visible, impactful projects:
The tarred roads with street lights in Ibara-Orile and Isaga-Orile are changing the landscape of our towns.
The town hall and classroom blocks nearing completion in Isaga-Orile are rekindling our commitment to education and community engagement.
The tarred road beside Omoyinmi Hall in Abeokuta stands as a bold statement of inclusion and attention to detail.
Numerous empowerment programmes have lifted the hopes of many in Abeokuta North.
His festive support programmes and pilgrim sponsorships have touched lives spiritually and socially.
What Yayi is doing is complementing the visionary leadership of our Governor, Prince Dapo Abiodun, who has allowed all political functionaries the freedom to showcase their capacities. Yayi has seized this opportunity and shown what it means to lead with heart, action, and results.
I remember when I carried out my own empowerment programme for our people. Senator Yayi personally called to appreciate me and said, “This is what is expected from us as politicians.” His words and actions are deeply inspiring.
As we prepare to launch the Yayi Assembly in Ward 15, Ilewo-Isaga, I look forward to the continued wave of progress and inclusion. Some of my constituents have also been selected as beneficiaries of the upcoming event in Ilaro, showing that this development drive is far-reaching.
To all our people, I say: “E ku oju lona o!” This is the kind of politics we desire—politics of development, not empty rhetoric. Enough of talk. What we want is action, and Senator Yayi has proven that it is possible.
May it continue to be well with us all. May our land keep flourishing.
