The Council boss while on a courtesy visit to Mayor Robin Christiansen in his office explained that Obafemi Owode Local Government is the business hub of Ogun State which also share boundaries with two major states in Southwestern Nigeria, Lagos and Oyo with the highest population and economic impact growth.
He disclosed that Obafemi Owode Local Government is one of the largest Local governments in Nigeria and its people are majorly into farming and Agro-allied investments, as modern equipment would be facilitated to encourage mechanized farming in line with the vision of the Governor of Ogun State, His Excellency, Prince Dr.Dapo Abiodun CON.
He further stressed that one of the major reasons of his visit is to familiarize with Mayor Robin Christiansen while he encouraged the international collaboration on Agricultural Development, as he is looking forward to have more international investors to partner with his Administration in harnessing the agricultural revolution and other industries as top of his agenda in providing food security to his people and Ogun State at large.
He also used the occasion to thank the good people of Obafemi Owode Local Government for standing firm with his Administration.
Mayor Robin Christensen, Mayor of Dover, Delaware in his speech expressed his happiness to receive the Chairman and his people, as he further assured of his readiness to partner with Obafemi Owode Local Government anytime.
As a show of love and respect by the Mayor, Amb. Ogunsola was honoured with an appointment as Mayor of Dover, Delaware for five minutes, as he was allowed to preside over the deliberation on some key matters in the state.
While he was also awarded a Silver Challenge Coin which automatically avail him the right to visit the Legislative Chamber at anytime, as he was escorted on the visit by Jody R.Simundza Executive Assistant / Constituent Liason to Mayor, Col. Charles Adejoro Rtd., and Hon. Desmond Olujimi, former Special Assistant to the Governor of Ogun State on Youths Development.
