OBAFEMI OWODE LG: AMB. OGUNSOLA ADVISE OLU IMEDU NLA TO DISTANCE SELF FROM LAND GRABBING, PRAY FOR PEACEFUL REIGN ON THE THRONE

The Imedu Nla Community of Obafemi Owode Local Government has witnessed a  new development in the history of kingship in Ogun State, as  Jimoh Ishola Adegbenro Adebayo was  elected as the Olu of Imedu Nla.

The Executive Chairman, Obafemi Owode Local Government, Amb. Adesina 'Lanre Ogunsola, FCPA has congratulated the Oba Elect on the successful selection onto the throne of his forefathers.

The Council Chairman congratulated the people of Imedu Nla while he appreciated their maturity, understanding, cooperation and orderliness displayed during the period of electing of the new Olu of Imedu Nla, while he urged them to continue strengthen the existing cooperation in moving the community forward , as they have succeeded in puting their Town among the other Towns that have Royal Father.

In the same vein, Amb. Ogunsola has advised the Olu of Imedu Nla to stay clear from issues that bothers on land grabbing, as the matter of such is so rampant these days.

"therefore let me advise you to kindly desist from any matter that can cause chaos or pandemonium during your reign in Imedu Nla", said Council boss.

He graciously thanked the Governor, His Excellency, Prince Dapo Abiodun, CON ably represented by the Honourable Commissioner for Local Government and Chieftaincy Affairs, Hon. Ganiyu Hamzat who has been a pathfinder, his foresight, passion and purposeful leadership in Ogun State has brought a lot of development across sectors of government which can not quantified .

Speaking at the occasion, Hon. Ganiyu Hamzat, Commissioner for Local Government and Chieftaincy Affairs congratulated the Royal Father for successful ascension to the throne of his forefathers, while he admonished him to be a true custodian of our cultural heritage. 

He therefore congratulated the people of Imedu Nla Town, as he equally advised them not to take the good gesture of the State Governor for granted. While he urged them to cooperates and support the new Royal Father through adherence to the directives and policy of government at all time.

Oba Jimoh Ishola Adegbenro Adebayo, Olu of Imedu Nla appreciated the Governor and the Council Chairman for accented to his emergence, haven  certified the requirement votes which shown the interest of people.

He further assured that during his reign, the existing cooperation, peace will continue wax stronger.
