The honour, bestowed by the Ilugun Council of Chiefs, is in recognition of Comrade Oluwafemi’s outstanding contributions to community development and youth empowerment.
The grand conferment ceremony, held in Ilugun Kingdom on Saturday attracted an array of dignitaries, traditional rulers, and community stakeholders.
Among the prominent leaders present were High Chief Ifaseun Idowu, the Oluwo Ilugun Land and Odofin Oke-Ona Egbaland; High Chief Lasisi Babalola, the Balogun Ilugun Land and Oganla Oke-Ona Egbaland; and High Chief (Mrs.) Folashade Kokumo Gbadebo, the Iyalode Ilugun Land and Iyalode Oke-Ona Egbaland-elect.
In his congratulatory message, the Oke-Ona Egba Youth Council National Secretary Comrade Kafidipe Tobiloba described the title as a well-deserved recognition of Comrade Oluwafemi’s selfless service, visionary leadership, and commitment to community progress.
“The conferment of Aare Onidaide reflects Comrade Oluwafemi’s dedication to fostering development and unity within Ilugun Kingdom and beyond.
“His wisdom and unwavering commitment to the betterment of our community are inspiring, and we are confident he will continue to lead with excellence”he said.
The youth council also expressed deep gratitude to His Imperial Majesty, Oba Adedapo Adewale Tejuoso, the Osile of Oke-Ona Egbaland, and the Ilugun Council of Chiefs for recognizing their leader with such an esteemed title. They emphasized that this honor not only uplifts Comrade Oluwafemi but also elevates the council and the community they serve.
The council therefore pledged their unwavering support to Aare Oluwafemi, noting that his new position is a reflection of the collective strength and aspirations of the Oke-Ona Egba Youth Council.
“This achievement is not just for Aare Oluwafemi but for every member of our council and the youth of Oke-Ona Egba. It reinforces our mission to drive meaningful development in our community,”he said.
