2027: Yayi Will Take Ogun to the Promised Land – Zee 1 for Yayi

A political support group, Zee 1 for Yayi, has declared its unwavering support for the governorship aspiration of Olamilekan Adeola ahead of the 2027 Ogun State governorship election, expressing confidence that the lawmaker possesses the vision and leadership capacity to transform the state.

The group made its position known during a meeting of members in Abeokuta on Wednesday where it reaffirmed its commitment to mobilising support for Senator Adeola across the 20 local government areas of Ogun State. Members described the senator as a tested leader whose record in public service has endeared him to many residents of the state.

Founder of the group, Alhaji Azeez Ayomikun Ibrahim, who is also the Chairman of Zee 1 Triple T Company, said the decision to establish the support platform was borne out of the need to encourage credible leadership capable of delivering sustainable development to Ogun State.

According to Ibrahim, Senator Adeola has consistently demonstrated commitment to the welfare of the people through impactful representation, infrastructure projects and empowerment programmes, noting that such qualities distinguish him as the right person to lead Ogun State in 2027.

“We strongly believe that Senator Olamilekan Adeola Yayi has the experience, competence and compassion required to take Ogun State to the promised land. His achievements in public office speak for themselves, and we are convinced that he will replicate the same level of performance as governor,” Ibrahim said.

He added that the group would embark on extensive grassroots mobilisation, consultations and voter education programmes aimed at building widespread support for the senator’s aspiration across all senatorial districts of the state.

“Our mission is to unite people behind a common vision for a greater Ogun State. We are not just forming a political group; we are building a movement that will engage communities, youths, women and other stakeholders in the quest for purposeful leadership,” he stated.

Ibrahim further called on residents of the state, irrespective of political affiliation, to support leaders with proven records of performance, stressing that the development of Ogun State should remain a collective responsibility beyond partisan interests.

He expressed optimism that the growing acceptance of Senator Adeola among the people would translate into overwhelming support whenever the governorship race officially begins, adding that the group would continue to expand its membership base across the state.
