A former governorship aspirant, Otunba Dr. Adetunji Oredipe, has congratulated Dapo Abiodun following his emergence as the party’s senatorial candidate, describing the victory as a reflection of strong leadership and sustained commitment to Ogun State’s development.
In a statement released to newsmen on Tuesday on behalf of the OTO team leadership and supporters, Oredipe said the outcome of the primary election has energized party members ahead of the general election, while pledging continued support for the governor’s senatorial ambition.
He noted that the governor’s leadership style and achievements in office have strengthened confidence among party faithful and residents across the state.
According to him, the victory represents not only a personal milestone for Abiodun but also a significant moment for the party’s political journey.
“Your leadership and dedication to the progress of Ogun State have been clearly demonstrated by this achievement.As you prepare for the general election, we stand firmly behind you and will support you every step of the way.”
The former aspirant also commended the governor’s ongoing development initiatives, particularly those being coordinated with the guidance of Tokunbo Talabi.
He highlighted projects such as the installation of solar and manual-powered boreholes, acquisition of transformers to boost electricity supply, and road grading across local government areas.
He further praised the administration’s direct financial support for vulnerable residents, describing it as a demonstration of inclusive governance and compassion.
Calling for unity within the party, the former governorship aspirant urged Otunba Gbenga Daniel and join hands with the party’s candidate.
