In a statement issued on Tuesday, Jiboku described the governor’s emergence as the party’s senatorial candidate as a well-deserved recognition of his leadership and commitment to the development of Ogun State.
According to him, the outcome of the primaries reflects the confidence and trust that party members and stakeholders have in the governor’s capacity to deliver effective representation at the National Assembly.
“Your victory at the primaries is a testament to your visionary leadership, dedication, and the remarkable strides recorded in Ogun State under your administration,” Jiboku said.
He noted that the governor’s track record in infrastructure, economic growth, and social development has continued to inspire confidence among party faithful and the electorate.
“This milestone further affirms the widespread acceptance of your people-focused governance. I am confident that your representation in the Senate will bring even greater opportunities and progress to Ogun East and the entire state,” he added.
Jiboku also assured the governor of his continued loyalty and support, expressing optimism about the party’s chances in the forthcoming general election.
