Adenuga, in a press statement made available to journalists on Saturday, described his ambition as a people-driven movement rather than a conventional political campaign, said Ogun State possesses vast economic and industrial potential that has yet to translate into improved living standards for many residents.
He noted that despite the state’s strategic location, industrious population, fertile land and expanding industrial base, challenges such as unemployment, poor infrastructure, inconsistent power supply, inadequate healthcare and abandoned public projects continue to undermine development.
Adenuga stressed that the BOOT Party is committed to a governance model that prioritises accountability, accessibility and measurable results, adding that his decision to run was driven by a desire to deliver practical solutions rather than political promises.
While outlining his vision, Adenuga identified education, healthcare and infrastructure, industrial growth, traditional institutions, and community partnerships as the core pillars of his proposed administration.
Speaking on education, he said his government would reform technical, vocational and digital skills training to align with labour market demands, working closely with private sector players to ensure graduates leave school with employable skills and entrepreneurial opportunities.
"In the area of healthcare and infrastructure, the governorship aspirant promised to upgrade primary healthcare centres across the state, while prioritising roads, water systems, rural access routes and reliable power projects that support economic activities in all 20 local government areas".
He also pledged to make Ogun State the most business-friendly environment in Nigeria by reducing bureaucratic hurdles, protecting legitimate land ownership and supporting local manufacturers, artisans and agro-processors with incentives and access to opportunities.
“The time has come for a government that listens, plans and delivers. Ogun State needs competent leadership and disciplined execution to build for tomorrow,” he said, calling on youths, entrepreneurs, farmers, professionals and community leaders to join the movement".
He concluded by affirming that the BOOT Party’s mission is to build a greater Ogun State through collective effort and responsible leadership.
