Governor Abiodun Appoints Olalekan Jiboku as Special Assistant


The Governor of Ogun State Prince Dapo Abiodun has approved the appointment of Olalekan Jiboku as Special Assistant, in a move described as part of efforts to strengthen governance and enhance grassroots representation across the state.

The appointment, which was announced on Wednesday, has been welcomed by political associates and supporters especially in Abeokuta South Constituency II, where Jiboku hails from. 

Supporters described him as a committed party loyalist and grassroots mobiliser with experience in community engagement.

Reacting to his appointment, Jiboku expressed appreciation to Governor Abiodun for finding him worthy of the position. 

He described the opportunity as a call to greater service and pledged to justify the confidence reposed in him by the governor and the people of Ogun State.

“I am deeply honoured by this appointment. I thank Governor Dapo Abiodun for the trust and confidence placed in me. This appointment is not just for me alone, but for the people of Abeokuta South Constituency II and everyone who believes in our collective progress,” Jiboku said.

He also assured residents and stakeholders that he would remain committed to the ideals of good governance, loyalty, and service to the people. 

According to him, the appointment would further motivate him to contribute more actively to policies and programmes aimed at improving the welfare of citizens across the state.
