The Former Governorship Aspirant in Ogun State Ọtunba Tunji Oredipe has congratulated Senator Adeola Solomon Olamilekan on his emergence as the consensus governorship candidate of the All Progressives Congress for the forthcoming election in Ogun State, describing the development as a reflection of the party’s commitment to unity and progress.
This was disclosed on Tuesday in a statement released to supporters and members of the OTO Team, Oredipe praised the senator’s dedication and hard work, noting that his emergence was well deserved. He expressed confidence that the candidate’s leadership would advance the state’s development agenda.
“Senator Olamilekan’s dedication and hard work throughout this journey have truly paid off. He embodies our collective aspirations with a people-centered agenda, and I am confident his leadership will bring meaningful progress to our beloved state,” Oredipe said.
He assured that his political structure would stand firmly behind the party’s decision and work toward victory at the polls. According to him, the focus now is to ensure that the party secures success in the general election and continues delivering dividends of democracy to residents.

Oredipe emphasized respect for the party’s internal democratic process, noting that the decision of the party had been accepted with humility. He reiterated his commitment to continued participation in the electoral process and pledged unwavering support for the APC candidate.
“The party has spoken and we accept the decision with respect and humility. Our loyalty to the process and to our people remains unshaken. We will give our very best support to ensure victory for our shared ideals and for the good people of Ogun State,” he added.
