In a statement issued on Monday, Tella described Adeola’s adoption as a well-deserved recognition of his leadership qualities, political experience, and longstanding commitment to public service.
The lawmaker said the decision of the APC to rally behind Adeola and demonstrates the unity and shared vision within the party to sustain good governance and development in the state.
He noted that the senator’s track record in public office has positioned him as a credible and capable leader.
“Senator Adeola’s emergence as the consensus candidate is a reflection of the confidence the party and the people have in his ability to lead Ogun State to greater heights.He has consistently demonstrated dedication, competence, and a passion for the progress of our state.”
“I am confident that with unity and collective support from party members and the people of Ogun State, Senator Adeola will deliver inclusive governance and accelerated development when elected,” he added.
The lawmaker also called on APC members and stakeholders across the state to remain united and committed as the party prepares for the 2027 election, stressing that unity remains the key to electoral success.
