A prominent aspirant for the Ogun State House of Assembly, Abeokuta South Constituency II, Hon. Olalekan Jiboku, has congratulated Sen. Solomon Olamilekan Adeola following his emergence as the All Progressives Congress (APC) consensus governorship candidate for the 2027 election in Ogun State.
In a congratulatory statement made available to journalists on Tuesday, Jiboku described Adeola’s emergence as a reflection of the trust and confidence reposed in him by party leaders and stakeholders across the state.
He noted that the decision of the party to rally behind the senator signals unity and readiness to consolidate on the progress recorded by the APC-led administration in Ogun State.
“Your emergence as the APC consensus governorship candidate is a testament to your unwavering commitment to public service, dedication to the people, and remarkable leadership qualities,” Jiboku said.
The aspirant expressed confidence that Sen. Adeola possesses the experience and capacity required to lead Ogun State to greater heights, stressing that his track record in the National Assembly speaks volumes about his passion for development and good governance.
“I am confident that your wealth of experience and proven capacity will further strengthen the progress of our dear state and deliver more dividends of democracy to the people,” he added.
Jiboku also pledged his loyalty and support to the APC and its candidate, urging party members and supporters across the state to remain united and committed ahead of the 2027 general election.
“As party faithful, this is the time to close ranks, work together and ensure a resounding victory for our great party. I fully align myself with the collective decision of the APC and pledge my support towards achieving success at the polls,” he stated.
He wished the APC candidate wisdom, strength, and success as preparations begin for the forthcoming governorship election.
