In a statement made available to journalists on Tuesday, Monsuru described Adeola’s emergence as a clear reflection of the party’s commitment to unity, inclusiveness and progressive leadership ahead of the governorship election.
He noted that the consensus decision demonstrates the confidence party stakeholders have in senator yayi’s capacity to lead the state to greater heights.
“I warmly congratulate Senator Solomon Olamilekan Adeola on this well-deserved emergence as the APC consensus governorship candidate.
