An aspirant for the Ogun Central Senatorial District seat, Dr. Emmanuel Olusola Soyoola EOS, has donated Lenten/ Ramadan gifts to leaders of the All Progressives Congress across the district as part of efforts to support the Christians and Muslims faithful during these holy months.
Soyoola, who is preparing for the 2027 senatorial race, distributed the items to leaders across Ogun Central, describing the gesture as a demonstration of love, unity, and compassion during the sacred period.
Speaking after the distribution, Soyoola said the initiative was aimed at identifying with Christian and Muslim leaders as they observe the spiritual exercise of fasting and prayers.
According to him, Ramadan and Lenten represents a time for generosity, sacrifice, and support for one another.
“Ramadan and lent is a sacred period that teaches us the virtues of kindness, charity, and service to humanity. It is important for us to support our leaders so that the blessings of this season can reach more people,” he said.
The senatorial aspirant added that leaders across Ogun Central play significant roles in maintaining peace and guiding their communities, noting that supporting them during the holy month would further strengthen unity within the district.
Soyoola also reaffirmed his commitment to the development of Ogun Central, stressing that his aspiration is driven by a desire to provide quality representation and bring impactful projects to the people.
“Our leaders are the pillars of our communities. By supporting them, we are strengthening the foundation of our society. My vision is to ensure that Ogun Central experiences greater development, empowerment, and opportunities for all,” Soyoola stated.
