Chief Edmund Adeyemi Adeboye, the Oluwo of Ijeun and Egbaland who was ably represented by the Odofin of Ijeunland, stated that the title was in honour of his numerous achievements, most especially on his recent investiture as the 3rd Best Local Government Chairman in Nigeria by Local Governments Merit Award (LOGMA 2025), as he has proven a good Ambassador of Ijeunland.
Similarly, Other Chiefs at the event showered encomium on the Council boss, as they expressed confidence on his new position as the Oluomo, Ijeunland with believes he will perform more beyond doubt.
Responding, Amb. Adesina 'Lanre Ogunsola, FCPA appreciated His Royal Majesty, Oba Adedotun Aremu Gbadebo, Okukenu IV, Alake and Paramount Ruler of EgbaLand, Oluwo Ijeunland and other Chiefs for counting him worthy of the title, OLUOMO OF IJEUNLAND, while he assured them of more dividend of democracy to all the nooks and crannies of Obafemi Owode Local Government and Egbaland by extension.
He further extended his thanks to His Excellency, Prince Dr. Dapo Abiodun, CON, Governor of Ogun State who returned him for second term to prove himself more at the grassroot level.
While he enjoined his people to continue supporting his administration, collectively we shall strive for excellence.
