Aina, who is also the convener of Ola Aina Support and Ola Aina New Recovery Political Movement, a grassroot politician in Yewa North Local Government Area of Ogun State, described the milestone achievement as a significant moment for the Egba people and a testament to the monarch’s purposeful and dignified reign.
In his congratulatory message, the diplomat and humanitarian praised the monarch for providing steady, exemplary leadership since ascending the throne in 2005. He, also noted that the monarch's reign has fostered unity, peace, and cultural pride across Egbaland, while also elevating the traditional institution to greater national relevance.
In his remarks towards the Alake's contributions to education, youth empowerment, and cultural preservation, Aina described him as a royal father whose influence extends beyond the boundaries of Ogun State, citing that the monarch’s calm and progressive approach to leadership has continued to inspire citizens and promote communal development.
He also applauded Oba Gbadebo’s engagements with government, private sector partners, and development groups, noting that the monarch has consistently used his position to advance the socio-economic interests of the Egba people.
Meanwhile, he added that, the Alake’s wisdom and diplomacy have positioned Egbaland as a centre of cultural prominence and stability.
Reflecting on the two decades of the monarch's impactful leadership, the convener also expressed gratitude for his unwavering support for initiatives that uplift the communities, adding that, the Alake is a custodian of heritage whose dedication to the welfare of his people remains a source of pride for successive generations.
However, prayers were also made for long life, strength, and continued divine guidance for the monarch, thereby wishing him future marked by greater achievements, as the 20th coronation anniversary stands as a moment of collective celebration for all sons and daughters of Egbaland.
