The Council boss gave credit to His Excellency, Prince Dapo Abiodun, CON on asphalted Siun/Owode road which has brought so much development to the headquarters of Obafemi Owode Local Government.
He made the remarks at the official opening of the new branch office of MAKDRE PHONES AND ELECTRONICS STORES with her headquarters in Oke Ilewo, the Capital City of Abeokuta,Ogun State.
He associated the fast growing economy in Owode-Egba to the recently constructed Siun/Owode road and Ogidan phase 1 road constructed by the Local Government in the axis of the council area.
Amb. Ogunsola disclosed that the asphalted Ogidan phase 1 road constructed was done to complement the Siun/Owode road constructed by the state government in fulfillment of His Excellency , Prince Dapo Abiodun, CON promises during a state's visit at the Council headquarters, Owode-Egba.
He further hinted that his administration will soon commence construction work on Cele road, Owode-Egba and other Areas of the council, as he assured of Commercial Banks springing very soon in Owode-Egba, the headquarters of Obafemi Owode Local Government.
While he highlighted some of his achievements which includes, Construction of 2 Blocks of 10 Classroooms with Office, Toilets at Maba, Construction of Health Centre at Kajola, Provision of Motorized Borehole at Derupatan Village, Ajebo ward among others.
Responding to Media, Mr. Makinde Olalekan Odudare, CEO MAKDRE GLOBAL explained that it has been his desire to site a branch office in Obafemi Owode Local Government due to its proximity to Lagos, as it is the industrial hub of Ogun State with his interest in Owode-Egba due to the fact that he hail from the town, but had to holdback on its plan at the time the area was battling with bad roads due to last administration's neglects on Owode/Siun road. But with the intervention of Governor Dapo Abiodun, who priotize the request of the good people of Obafemi Owode Local Government on the reconstructed the Siun/Owode road to what it is today, which has since paved way for businesses to thrive and modernized the old history of the town to its potential status.
He further thanked the council boss for his complementary efforts on the construction of Ogidan road, which has equally added up to the economy gains of the town, as many Small and Medium Scale businesses who in the past could not make Owode-Egba a choice area for business are now moving in.
His Royal Highness, Oba Sowemimo, Olu Owode also called on sons and daughters of Obafemi Owode Local Government to begins channel their investment ideas and aspirations to Owode-Egba and other Areas of the council, as the image of the town has gone global as the industrial hub of the state and gateway to industrialization of the nation.
