Otunba Fayose Visits ADC National Leader, Aregbesola, Plots Roadmap to Rescue Ekiti in 2026

On Wednesday, Otunba Emmanuel Oluwayose (Fayose), the leading ADC governorship aspirant for Ekiti in 2026, paid a strategic visit to the party’s National Leader and Secretary, Ogbeni Rauf Aregbesola, at his Abuja residence.

This meeting marks Oluwayose’s first official visit to the former Minister of Interior and party leader since his formal defection from the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) to the ADC on October 1, 2025.

According to the aspirant’s media director, Wasiu Adejumo, “the meeting was a fruitful high-level consultation focused on strengthening the party’s internal structure and creating a united front to unseat the current Governor Biodun Abayomi Oyebanji (BAO) in the upcoming 2026 election."

During the private meeting, both leaders reportedly exchanged ideas on grassroots mobilization, governance priorities, and strategies to reposition Ekiti State for inclusive growth, fairness, and development.

Pictures from the visit showed a cheerful and cordial atmosphere, highlighting mutual respect and enthusiasm between the ADC leader and the Ekiti aspirant, reflecting the party’s growing confidence in Oluwayose's leadership ability and political vision.

Party insiders describe Otunba Oluwayose as one of the most consistent and disciplined aspirants within the ADC, who remains active, accessible, and committed to building a people-centered movement for Ekiti.

Since joining the ADC, Oluwayose has been engaging nationwide, meeting with political stakeholders, community leaders, and youth groups across Nigeria to gather support and leave no stone unturned for Ekiti’s progress.

A senior ADC member, speaking anonymously, said, “Otunba Oluwayose has brought a new level of energy, seriousness, and credibility to our party."

“His vision aligns perfectly with ADC’s values of justice, fairness, and grassroots empowerment."

“The leadership loves him because he represents the next generation of political consciousness in Ekiti, and he is already setting the tone for the 2026 governorship race," the source added.
