The Yayi Youth Vanguard, a socio-political group, has admonished electorates, particularly youths across Ogun State, to ensure they collect their Permanent Voter Cards (PVCs) in preparation for the 2027 general elections.
The Chairman of the group, Comrade Ojo Emmanuel Enitan, made this call on Tuesday during an interview with journalists at Ilewo-Orile in Abeokuta North Local Government area of Ogun State .
According to him, the PVC remains the only access card to participate in the electoral process and to ensure the actualization of Senator Solomon Olamilekan Adeola Yayi’s governorship ambition.
Comrade Enitan stressed that the youth constituency in Ogun has resolved to rally behind Senator Yayi, describing him as a visionary leader whose political track record speaks volumes.
“Come 2027, we, the youth in Ogun, have declared our support for Yayi’s vision, and we are going to come out en masse to ensure that he emerges. He has touched every corner across the state, which shows that he has what it takes to lead Ogun,” he declared.
He added that the group has a wide spread across the nooks and crannies of Ogun State, mobilizing youths and sensitizing them on the importance of political participation.
Comrade Enitan also commended the lawmaker representing Abeokuta North State Constituency Hon. Babatunde Tella and the Yayi Welfare Scheme for advancing the vision of Senator Yayi in Abeokuta North through grassroots projects and empowerment initiatives.
He urged youths not only to secure their PVCs but also to be actively involved in the democratic process, assuring that the Yayi Youth Vanguard would continue to champion the senator’s governorship bid.
