In particular, Alhaja Faidat hailed the Governor for allocating 80 of the new appointees to the 16 wards in Abeokuta North Local Government, describing the move as a bold step towards strengthening civic engagement and bringing governance closer to the people.
It will be recalled that Governor Abiodun recently announced the appointment of 1,200 political assistants to serve as change agents across the state, in fulfillment of his commitment to broaden access to democratic dividends and enhance participation at the grassroots level.
Speaking with News Channel on Monday, the APC Chairman expressed confidence that the new appointees would live up to expectations and contribute significantly to the growth and development of their respective wards, local governments, and the state at large.
She advised the appointees to conduct themselves with dignity, serve as worthy representatives of both the Governor and the party, and work tirelessly to strengthen the APC in Abeokuta North.

Alhaja Faidat also appreciated the Executive Chairman of Abeokuta North Local Government, Hon. Lanre Oyegbola Sodipo, for his continued support and leadership in fostering unity and development within the local government.
“The collective efforts of the Governor, party leaders, and the new appointees will further consolidate the APC’s strength at the grassroots and enhance good governance across Ogun State”she said.
