Fondly known as SAS, Senator Salisu has distinguished himself through visionary leadership and responsive representation. From his tenure as Chief of Staff to the Ogun State Governor to his current role at the National Assembly, he has championed numerous initiatives aimed at grassroots development, youth empowerment, and legislative excellence that continue to impact lives across Ogun Central and beyond.
The Ogun NUJ particularly acknowledges Senator Salisu’s unwavering support for media development, freedom of the press, and constructive engagement with journalists. Notably, the Union expresses deep appreciation for Senator Salisu’s recent generous donations, including a 12KVA solar system, 10 poles of solar-powered lights, and laptop computers to support the operations of the NUJ Secretariat and Members.
