Oluseye: A Man With Clear Political Ideology, Lover Of The People

People join politics with different kind of ideologies. Their background plays a major role in shaping their performance when at the helm of affairs. This informs why people have diverse opinions about politicians. Politicians of socialist backgrounds are distinct from those of capitalists. The former serve the people wholeheartedly and manage the resources entrusted to them by their people with equity. They put the people first in all their policies and focus on people-oriented programmes.

Politicians with capitalism slant are adept at increasing productivity and encouraging technological advancement. If a politician can successfully combine these two parallel backgrounds, he will not just be a successful crisis/situation manager, he will be the go-to person whenever good and focused leadership is needed.

Hon Akeem Oluseye from Abeokuta North Local Government, Ogun State Nigeria is such a person. His socialist ideology is never in doubt. This is very evident in his philanthropic gestures and humanitarian approach towards his people. His success in business testifies to his capitalist experience. He has been combining the two worlds since eons.

Oluseye ventured into Ogun State politics about a decade ago with a socialist ideology. He hails from Ago Ika in Ward 7 (Gbagura) of Abeokuta North Local Government Area in the capital of the Gateway State.

Despite not being successful after contesting the chairmanship position of Abeokuta North twice and the House of Assembly ticket in 2023, he remained undaunted. His humanitarian services still continues.

Oluseye is a great man; his humility is incomparable. He holds every leader in Abeokuta North with high esteem and never underestimated members of his party, the All Progressives Congress (APC). He brings himself to the level of the commoners with his level of connection, experience and exposure. 

He has contributed and invested his time, energy and resources heavily in the party structure at both the local government and the state.

Oluseye is the ideal example of complete omoluabi politician - he is kind, humble, pious, cheerful, philanthropic and shrewd manager of resources. He is the rally point for the youths in the state and beyond. His political network spans Ogun, Lagos, and Osun States.

As a businessman and philanthropist, he has always been using all in his capacity to assist the downtrodden and never discriminates. Such politician will live forever in the hearts of many.

Young politicians like Oluseye deserve is what could be likened to 'First Eleven', coaches do not joke with such players in a game of football, their skills and potentials make them indispensable.  Oluseye deserves to be commended for his efforts over the years. This will serve as a motivation for people like him to do more for the party and its members.
