The impactful training session took place at the Abeokuta North Local Government Hall on Wednesday and Thursday which drew a large number of enthusiastic young participants eager to gain practical knowledge in mobile technology, a skill increasingly relevant in today’s digital-driven world.
Facilitating the training was Mr. Abiola Olukunle Moses, popularly known as Kunlenchy, who is the consultant to NCDMB emphasized the importance of focus, dedication, and resilience in navigating the opportunities and challenges of modern technology.
“Technology is constantly evolving,” he noted. “I urge the participants to appreciate and make use of the tools given to them along side with what they have learnt here”.
The consultant therefore urged the participants not to trade the starter packs but make use of it with the knowledge they have acquired from the training.
Speaking at the event, Hon. Olabiyi Victor Olusola, the Councillor representing Ward 14 in Abeokuta North Local Government, lauded the initiative.
He commended the organizers for bringing such a valuable programme to the grassroots and encouraged participants to take full advantage of the skills offered.
“I love this initiative. It’s a clear path to youth empowerment and self-reliance. I urge all participants to remain focused and use this opportunity to build a sustainable future.”
Also speaking at the programme , the Supervisor for Agriculture in Abeokuta North Local Government, Alhaji Azeez Adedigba, appreciated the organizers and described the initiative as timely and impactful.
“This training is a laudable effort. It has the potential to drastically reduce youth unemployment and create future entrepreneurs in the tech sector,” he said.
One of the beneficiaries, Saba Ayomide expressed heartfelt gratitude, calling the training a “life-changing experience.
According to him, the program has opened doors to self-reliance and entrepreneurship in the booming mobile phone repair industry.
