In a letter dated June 19, 2025, issued by the Centre for Ethics and Self-Value Orientation (CESVO) a Lokoja based international anti-corruption organization, Hon. Tella was officially commended following a rigorous 14-month independent secret assessment of state assemblies across Nigeria.
The exercise, conducted by CESVO whistleblowers, reviewed the performance and integrity of public officers across the 36 states of the Federation.
Hon. Tella emerged as one of the Top 100 Principal Officers of State Houses of Assembly, selected for demonstrating unwavering ethical standards and a commitment to public accountability.
According to the commendation signed by Ethicist (Prince) Salih Musa Yakubu, Executive Director of CESVO, the letter reads: “The Centre for Ethics and self-value orientation is a Lokoja based international anti-corruption NGO majored in exposing corruption, promoting ethical leadership, providing ethical education and self-value orientation of global citizens.
“Upon the conclusion of the
(14) months independent secret assessment program to all the states of the Federation of Nigeria, you were one of the top (100) principal officers of the State House of Assembly at sub-national level in Nigeria recommended for this commendation by our whistle blowers due to your leadership dexterity in the state Assembly management system.
“This commendation is in recognition of your commitment to quality oversight service delivery, integrity, due process compliance, National interest consideration, innovative skills, emotional intelligence, professional ethics compliance and ethical uprightness in the running of the Assembly.
“Your sincere ethical leadership role towards the transformation of the Assembly has earned you this most cherished commendation exclusively reserved for the incorruptible global citizens of which you were discovered to be one in state owned establishment in Nigeria.
“You are by this commendation further recommended to individual, corporate organization and Government both within and outside Nigeria wishing to engage your services for the advancement ef humanity and nation building”.
