In a statement issued by the state chairman, the association described Apelogun as a worthy ambassador of ACOMORAN, whose unwavering dedication and exceptional service to the union have distinguished him over the years.
“Alhaji Apelogun’s elevation is a well-deserved recognition of his steadfast commitment, leadership qualities, and selfless contributions to the growth and unity of ACOMORAN both at the state and national levels,” the statement read.
The association expressed confidence that in his new role, Apelogun will continue to uphold the values of transparency, accountability, and grassroots engagement that he is known for.
ACOMORAN also used the opportunity to reaffirm its support for policies and leadership that promote the welfare of commercial motorcycle and tricycle operators across the country, while urging members to emulate the exemplary qualities of the newly appointed leader.
