Fajimi, in a statement signed by him and made available for newsmen on Friday , praised the Governor for his persistence effort in making sure that the road is transferred by the federal government to the state government for reconstruction.
According to him "I am thrilled to see the reconstruction work begin on this critical road, which has caused untold suffering for motorists and residents of our great state.
"Governor Abiodun's determination to address this issue is a testament to his commitment to the welfare of our people."
Fajimi noted that the reconstruction of the expressway would not only ease the burden on motorists but also boost economic activities in the region."
