Gov.Abiodun Emerges Chairman of Southern Governors Forum, Soludo Vice Chair

Ogun State Governor, Prince Dapo Abiodun, has been elected as the Chairman of the Southern Governors Forum. 

The announcement was made by Lagos State Governor, Babajide Sanwo-Olu, at the end of the forum's meeting held at the Presidential Lodge in Abeokuta on Monday.

Professor Charles Soludo, the Governor of Anambra State, was elected as the Vice Chairman of the forum. 

The meeting was attended by 16 out of the 17 governors that make up the Southern Governors Forum, with Rivers State Governor, Similayi Fubara, being the only absentee.

Some governors were physically present at the meeting, while others were represented by their deputies. The governors in attendance included Babajide Sanwo-Olu (Lagos), Dapo Abiodun (Ogun), Seyi Makinde (Oyo), Biodun Oyebanji (Ekiti), Alex Otti (Abia), Godwin Obaseki (Edo), Ademola Adeleke (Osun), and Bassey Otu (Cross River).

Other governors in attendance, were Charles Soludo (Anambra), Francis Nwifuru (Ebonyi),

Peter Mbah (Enugu), Duoye Diri (Bayelsa) and Uno Eno (Akwa Ibom).
