Dr Demola disclosed this on Saturday while donating food items to 200 vulnerable of Ijebu Igbo community in Ogun State.
Highlighting the need for a mindset transformation, Dr. Okeowo urged the citizens to embrace "The Renewed Mindset Agenda" alongside the national vision for renewed hope.
According to him "I totally agreed with the Renewed mindset agenda. The government has this renewed hope agenda which I think is good. President Tinubu has an agenda for this country but it goes beyond what the government want to do for us , as a people we also need that renewed mindset .
" I see people taking advantage of someone else , every opportunity is to just exploit to take advantage. The government cannot do everything because we deserve a kind of leader that we have , if we have a renewed mind plus the Renewed Hope agenda, I believe that the sky is not just a limit for us , it's a stepping stone, Nigeria will be better but we need a renewed mindset combine with the Renewed Hope agenda so that all of the dividends of democracy will come to every one of us."
In his remarks , the Executive Director of the foundation, Adewale Adebari said the foundation is a group of concerned citizens of Ogun State, both in Nigeria and in Diaspora, who are committed to the well-being and welfare of the people in the state.
Adebari emphasized the imperative of collective responsibility in safeguarding the welfare and well-being of the citizen.
"We believe that the welfare and well-being of our people in Ogun State cannot be left to the government alone.
"It must be a public-private partnership. That's why we decided to complement the government's effort by reaching out to the needy in our society."
He added that the foundation's food distribution program is aimed at supporting vulnerable individuals in the community.
"It's about time we come out and render assistance to people, just complementing government effort.
He urged other organizations to emulate the foundation initiative in other to reach out to the needy in the society.
Prince Ajibola Jimoh Mafe, the elected Oba of Ilushin township in the community lauded the foundation's dedication to societal welfare.
He said the charity organization has always been for the interest of the younger one and the less privileged.
"We should be having more of such not only in Ijebu land but in Nigeria as a whole.
" I appreciate the founder for having such initiative , such an initiative is always in the best interest of the under privileged and I wish him success.
"The President is starting somewhere , his movement may not be as fast as expected but I'm happy for Nigeria because we are seeing that there's hope and it's becoming very open to everybody . What the foundation is doing here today is another expression that there's success in Nigeria ."
One of the beneficiaries Ashiru Hamed expressed his heartfelt gratitude to the foundation for its kindness and generosity.
Hamed, who was among the 200 vulnerable individuals who received food items from the foundation, praised Dr. Demola Okeowo for his selfless act.
"I'm highly impressed with what Dr. Demola Okeowo did today. I think such attitude and behaviour is worthy of emulation in our society."
He commended the foundation for it's efforts in reaching out to the less privileged, despite the challenges in the country.
