The 35 Artillery Brigade of the Nigerian Army, Alamala Abeokuta, on Friday, organized a send-off ceremony in honour of four senior officers who have completed their meritorious service at the Brigade .
The ceremony, which took place at the Vulcans Officers' Mess, Alamala Barracks, Abeokuta, was attended by the Commander, 35 Artillery Brigade, Brigadier General Mohammed Tajudeen Aminu, and other top military officers.
In his remarks, Brigadier General Aminu explained that the ceremony was a routine military tradition to bid farewell to officers who have been posted to other formations.
He commended the outgoing officers for their dedication and contributions to the brigade, wishing them well in their new assignments.
"You come and serve in a place then after some time go to another office or formation , this our four officers have been posted to other formation .
"That's why we have gathered here to send them off just to appreciate their efforts and contributions they have given when they serve here in the brigade .I also wish them well wherever they are going in their various offices ."
While presenting a gift to the outgoing Public Relations Officer (PRO), Lieutenant Muhammad Goni, Mr Sani Ismail who represented the newsmen in Ogun State appreciated him for his hard work and achievements during his tenure.
Other outgoing senior officers are : Lieutenant Colonel TO Gabriel, Major G Abdullahi ,Captain KE Fyneface .
