He declared this on Monday 15th April, 2024 while on a working visits to some of the government acquisition land since creation of the local government where the staff quarter situated, few meters away from the council secretariat in Owode Egba.
The council boss re-emphasized that all illegal occupants should vacate the place, having erected a sign post, boldly written that the land's belong to Obafemi Owode Local Government.
He further addressed all the residents in the area to be cautious of fake and dubious agent who poses as government officials to sell and extort money from people with the claims that they have been given power of attorney to sell or lease out government properties to interested individual or private companies.
He therefore stated that, during these periods of 21days ultimatum,all occupants with genuine documents should come to the local government secretariat for their defense. And after the expiration of 21 days ultimatum, decisive action will be taking against the culpable which may be grievous.
" Let me remind everyone here that very recently His Excellency, Prince Dapo Abiodun, CON gave a strong warning to all Traditional rulers and Baales in Ogun State to distance themselves from sale of land or land matters, anyone find wanting in this regards shall regret is involvement", said council boss.
