The foundation which gave thanks and adorations to “almighty Allah the Lord of the day of resurrection and judgement”, prayed that the blessings and favours of Allah be upon all Muslims as they celebrate Eid-il-Fitr which means “festival of breaking the fast” and marks the end of the month of Ramadan.
In a statement by the founder of the foundation Olaseni Lawal noted that “Eid-il-Fitr is one of the most important festival of Muslims in the Islamic calendar.
Olaseni Lawal said Ramadan was a time of self-reflection and a renewed commitment to living a life of piety and peace.
"As we mark this important occasion, we must take the opportunity to reflect on the lessons of Ramadan and the values that it teaches us, which are love for one another and mutual understanding for a peaceful society."
He urged all Nigerians to use the Eid-al-Fitr festival to pray for Nigeria and Nigerians.
