Friends Network Commends Yayi Over Completion of Ogijo-Sagamu Market Road

The Friends Network, a support group backing the All Progressives Congress (APC) governorship candidate in Ogun State, Senator Solomon Olamilekan Adeola, popularly known as Yayi, has commended the senator for the completion of the Ogijo-Sagamu Market Road.

The group in a statement issued to newsmen on Tuesday described the completion of the road project as a significant intervention that would improve transportation, boost commercial activities and ease the movement of people and goods between Ogijo and Sagamu communities.

The Friends Network, led by former Ogun State governorship aspirant, Prince Kayode Tejuoso, said the project demonstrated Senator Adeola’s commitment to addressing infrastructure challenges and improving the socio-economic wellbeing of residents across the state.

Speaking on the development, Tejuoso said the completion of the road was a clear indication that Yayi understood the importance of good infrastructure to grassroots development. He noted that a functional road network remained critical to the growth of businesses and the prosperity of local communities.

“We commend Senator Olamilekan Adeola for the completion of the Ogijo-Sagamu Market Road. This is the kind of intervention that directly affects the lives of ordinary people. It will make transportation easier, improve access to markets and create better opportunities for traders and other businesses,” Tejuoso said.

He added that the Friends Network would continue to draw public attention to projects and initiatives that had positive impacts on communities, stressing that the group was committed to supporting developmental efforts that would benefit the people of Ogun State.

According to him, the road would particularly provide relief for traders, commuters, farmers and residents who depend on the route for their daily economic activities. He urged the people to protect the infrastructure and ensure that the road remained in good condition.

Other members of the Friends Network who joined in the commendation included Engr. Ayotunde Ayodeji, RTEAN Secretary; Chief Tiwalade Akingbade, popularly known as Paulo Rossi; Hon. (Engr.)
