Oredipe, in his birthday message issued to newsmen on Monday said Senator Adeola’s years in public service had demonstrated his commitment to the development of the people and the state, noting that his political journey had been marked by resilience, grassroots engagement and a strong understanding of governance.
He described Yayi as a politician who had continued to distinguish himself through his interventions in education, economic empowerment, infrastructure and other areas of human development.
According to Oredipe, “At 57, Senator Olamilekan Adeola has every reason to be grateful for a life of service, sacrifice and commitment to the people. His journey is a testimony to what can be achieved through dedication, perseverance and a genuine desire to serve.”
The former governorship aspirant said Adeola’s emergence as a major political figure in Ogun State was not accidental, stressing that his experience at the National Assembly had equipped him with valuable legislative and administrative knowledge.
Oredipe further congratulated the senator for his contributions to the growth of Ogun State, saying his interventions had continued to touch lives across different sectors of society.
He added, “Yayi has demonstrated that leadership is not merely about occupying an office; it is about making a difference in the lives of the people. His commitment to empowering young people, supporting students, assisting traders and contributing to community development is worthy of recognition.”
Oredipe also urged Adeola to remain focused and continue to place the interests of Ogun residents above personal considerations, describing the senator’s 57th birthday as an opportunity to reflect on his achievements and prepare for greater responsibilities.
The World Bank agricultural economist wished Adeola more years of good health, wisdom and impactful service, expressing optimism that the senator would continue to contribute meaningfully to the development of Ogun State.
He said, “As you celebrate 57 years, my prayer is that God will grant you greater wisdom, strength and good health to continue serving humanity. May the years ahead bring greater opportunities to make an even more significant impact on Ogun State and Nigeria.”
