Ambassador Ibrahim made the declaration while speaking with political associates in Abeokuta on Monday.
He described Senator Adeola as a tested leader whose achievements and commitment to the people have placed him ahead of other aspirants in the race. According to him, the senator’s record of service and connection with the grassroots have made him the candidate to beat.
“Without any doubt, Senator Solomon Olamilekan Adeola is the candidate to beat in the forthcoming governorship election. His achievements, leadership qualities, and commitment to the welfare of the people have distinguished him from other candidates,” Ibrahim said.
He further noted that Senator Adeola’s numerous empowerment programmes, infrastructural interventions and educational support initiatives have earned him admiration across different segments of society, particularly among youths, women and community leaders in Ogun State.
He added that the lawmaker has continued to demonstrate both competence and compassion in public service.
“YAYI has consistently demonstrated capacity and compassion. The people can see the difference he has made in the lives of ordinary citizens, and that is why his support base continues to expand every day,” he added.
Ambassador Ibrahim also disclosed that the Zee 1 for YAYI Support Group has intensified political mobilisation across the 20 local government areas of Ogun State ahead of the 2027 general elections, with a firm resolve to deliver massive support for Senator Adeola and other candidates of the All Progressives Congress (APC).
He said the mobilisation drive is focused on strengthening grassroots structures, raising voter awareness and encouraging active participation in the electoral process.
According to him, the group has already commenced ward-to-ward mobilisation, with volunteers engaging residents on the need to register, collect their Permanent Voter Cards and prepare to vote during the elections.
He stressed that voter education and civic responsibility remain key components of the group’s strategy.
“We have been telling our people to register and get their PVCs ready for APC in the forthcoming election,” he said.
The Zee 1 for YAYI founder further stated that the group’s support extends beyond the governorship candidate alone, adding that it would mobilise for all APC candidates in the state.
He explained that the support is rooted in the belief that Senator Adeola and other APC flagbearers represent continuity, development and people-oriented leadership for Ogun State.
